A practical record format

Record maker, model, color or pattern, SKU, declared material, package count and source link. Add the listed dimensions with their exact labels. For the selected Kitsch loop clip, that means 11 cm length, 4.5 cm height and 4 cm width per clip, with two assorted clips in the offer.

Preserve measurement scope

Keep an unknown jaw opening in a separate field rather than copying the outer length into it. If you personally measure a received item, mark that as your own measurement with its method and date. A seller shipping-box dimension is another field and should not become a clip dimension by accident.

Keep price date separate

Retain observed price, currency, seller and check date separately from current price. A saved $9 two-piece offer is not a guaranteed future quote, and a listed price does not establish delivery or merchant approval. The record can support later rechecking without pretending the market stayed unchanged.

Do not fill uncertain identity

If the exact model cannot be identified, write unknown and ask the maker rather than assigning an SKU from a similar-looking photo. Our generic artwork cannot authenticate a product or determine its alloy, pattern or source. A useful record can contain unanswered questions; it does not need a confident personal-fit verdict to be complete as a record.

Use a clear units column

Keep inches and centimeters explicitly labeled rather than dropping the unit after conversion. The France Luxe listed 3.5 in length is 8.89 cm; its 0.75 in width is 1.905 cm. Retain the original source statement beside the arithmetic so later readers do not mistake the extra decimal places for a measured manufacturing tolerance.

Keep field confidence visible

An exact maker specification, a private measurement, a guess and an unknown are different entries. Mark which one each field represents. A tidy product record should not silently upgrade a guessed dimension or an old price into a verified current fact just because it was copied into a new spreadsheet.
